In the springtime, insects at Frank Lake attract an abundance of yellow-headed blackbirds. The birds easily snatch up the insects, but their efforts don’t seem to make a difference. Every time I saw a yellow-headed blackbird land, I felt a sense of exhaustion for the birds and their seemingly never-ending feast.
